I’m Tobi a Freelancer from Munich, where I code and listen to music.
I have worked in various companies and learned a lot from them, but there was always the wish to become independent and start something on my own. So in 2022, I gathered my courage and became a freelancer.
When I started my programming career 10 years ago with my apprenticeship, I mainly worked in the frontend, but soon had my fingers in the backend as well. From that time on, I started many small fun projects in my spare time and learned a lot so that today I feel very comfortable in the frontend as well as in the backend.
My normal tech stack for new projects is pretty much always Laravel in the backend, Vue or Svelte with Typescript in the frontend and TailwindCss for the styles. This stack allows me to quickly build high quality applications and since I'm a big fan of tools like static analysis or Unit/E2E tests, the projects remain maintainable even when they grow. However, I also like to experiment with new tech and always find new exciting things to integrate into my stack.
